Improve Market Center’s Public Spaces - Sign the Petition.

 There are many good things happening in Market Center (development activity, business investment, and residential growth come to mind), and we are proud to work with Market Center stakeholders on these changes. At the same time, we urgently need more public and private improvements to help Market Center reach its full potential as a safe, bustling, multi-functional, multi-cultural community, where people of all income and education levels can live and find jobs, and where every Baltimorean feels welcome -- the heart and pride of the city.

We are addressing this issue from a variety of angles. For example, we are working with the Downtown Partnership and Baltimore Development Corporation to encourage business and property owners to take advantage of Facade Improvement Grants. We host volunteer cleanup and beautification events with partners, support the City Center Residents Association's monthly cleanup days, talk to businesses about improving maintenance around their buildings, and submit 311 requests regularly.
